The better question would be, 'What can't you do?' Without installing a single mod, I had the time of my life. Being an RPG sandbox medieval title, 'what exactly is there to do' just isn't the right question.

Again, the number of hours put into this game by the average player are astronomical compared to other games, easily reaching the 500+ hour mark for a decent majority. The primary draw of the game is the single player experience. Combined with the love and care put into Mount & Blade: Warband - The Parabellum, a completely new addition of WWI aspects to Warband, there's a lot too love and become further invested in despite the game releasing 11 years ago. The game alone has been a treasure trove of unique, passionate design that has consistently made Warband what it is.

Warband was the truly defining moment for this series that featured vast capabilities for competitive play, limitless potential for roleplaying ideas, and endless game modes with the scenario editor that let players design as they pleased. There have been thousands of players that have committed some serious time to this game (well over 10,000 hours for a few that I saw while researching) that love it like no other. Mount and Blade as a series has a serious reputation in the realms of open world medieval RPGs.
